qt5-default software package provides Qt 5 development defaults package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install qt5-default
qt5-default is installed in your system.
Make ensure the qt5-default package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep qt5-default *
You will get with qt5-default package name, version, architecture and description in a table
